GSA celebrates its seventh Pre-Kindergarten 4 and Kindergarten Graduation

The seventh graduation ceremony for Pre-Kindergarten 4 and Kindergarten was held on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at the Garden of the Sahaba Academy. The joyous and momentous occasion was attended by happy parents, teachers, board members, school administrators, and students.
In his welcome address the school director informed the audience about GSA receiving the coveted Five Star rating by Quality Counts of Palm Beach County.
He also quoted Ms. Arvi Balserio, chair person of the Florida Kindergarten Council accreditation team who was extremely impressed by “the truly dedicated teachers who modeled wonderful virtues for the students.” GSA was also commended for upholding a developmental approach to the education of young children while maintaining high academic standards.
GSA has had an extremely successful visit from Florida Kindergarten Council, Florida Council of Independent Schools, and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and Insha Allah is expected to be fully accredited in June 2010. Meanwhile GSA is also a member of the Florida Association of Child Care Management (FACCM), and is an APPLE (Accredited Professional Preschool Learning Environment) accredited school.

The students did a great job singing the Nasheeds, and reciting the Quran. Teachers, administrators, and members of the Board, were pleased to see how the children had grown so much, and wished them success in all their future endeavors.
