Triple Champs Flag-football

Triple win for ICBR Believers Flag- football teams on March 7, 2010. MashaAllah!! The students from the Garden of the Sahaba worked hard, played hard, and won big!! The football season for GSA began at the end of January and ended in March. Three teams were created, Elementary Co-ed, Middle School Girls, and Middle School Boys. The coaches for the teams were Sr. Sarah (elementary team), Sr. Faten H. (middle school girls), and Br. Saed (middle school boys). The coaches encouraged and challenged the players all through the season and the outcome was marvelous!




The ICBR Believers played against teams from Nour al- Islam and STEMS. All the schools did an amazing job and played great. Students made great friends and learned the importance of creating and maintaining community relations amongst all Muslims. All the coaches deserve applause for organizing and fulfilling the season with great success.
The Championship games were tense, fun, and filled with energy. All the students played amazing, mashaAllah. All three ICBR Believers teams won the championship! All the players were wonderful and assisted in the big win. There were three students given MVP (most valuable player) trophies. The Middle School Boys honored Mohammed Abdullah (8th grade), Middle School Girls acknowledged Jasmine Saadeh (7th grade) and Elementary Co-ed team praised Amir Shatara (2nd grade)! MashaAllah, fantastic job!!! May Allah (swt) always protect and guide you all!!!
